    Anyone flying 360 video cameras?

We've done some work with 360 heros and 6 or 10 GoPros. Little more cumbersome, but worked well. http://www.theprimacy.com/vr

    DJI Radio Replacment

@camflite Hey Paul, would you mind sharing what battery you chose and how did the install go? I don't suppose that this happens often, but I'm sure some people on here would find that information useful.

    Drones in Haunted Zones

@Dan Baines , thank you for sharing that, I actually started a little "abandoned place" series myself, these places are great for a little drone adventure. So far I have an abandoned asylum for criminally insane here in Norwich CT, and a ship boneyard in Arthur Kill, Staten Island. I can't...

Diy build - some help for noobs?

@Booda , I think that a DIY guide may be a great episode, thank you for the request!

    Where's Papa

@NTTD , thank you for your feedback, it's really appreciated. You are correct, we are trying to include different shows and content within our network, beginning with FPV racing oriented segments (look for announcement in next Drone Vibes Podcast), and hopefully expanding to the drone law next...

    New DJI M600 drone?

    @Andrew Prince recording it tonight:)

    The end of the hobby?

@camflite time for a formation flight! I think it's not gonna be all that hot. How in the world would they ever enforce this? I sure hope that common sense prevails here, but one never knows.

Aerial video and photography using drones

@Roger Apolinar , I love the Inspire, but the P4 is a ton of fun, easy to carry around, and less intimidating to people. They each have their spot in my "toolkit". The P4s obstacle avoidance, VPS, and the small size make it a perfect tool for indoor jobs:)

    Where's Papa

@Andrew Prince thank you so much for taking time to write this feedback, it is really helpful, and very constructive. I would love to have someone for an interview about the CAA rules and the drone rules and regulations in the UK, if you'd be up for it, please, send me a message here or FB. You...

Phantom 4 announced today and the specs look good

@John Locke interesting, so far I have only experienced a couple of short disconnects when flying with my friends with other Phantoms (3&4),and under these specific conditions: the two pilots get too close to each other, the other pilot gets near the imaginary line between me and my Phantom, or...

Aerial video and photography using drones

Wow, @Roger Apolinar , pretty cool, like the music, little too long to my taste:) was this a P3?

    DJI Phantom 4

I've had mine for a bit over 3 weeks now and love it. The camera may not be such a huge improvement over the P3, but the overall package is worth trading up. What flight times are you guys seeing? Has anyone else tried tracking another drone?

Dropgate - Inspires and Phantoms dropping out of the sky

@John Locke agreed, I think that DJI raised that threshold to keep people who are "pushing it" out of trouble. Their battery gauge seems to calculate the remaining time from voltage, not the mAh used, so yeah, right about that one. I wonder if that new 10 pin connector helps keep things balanced...

3DR Solo vs DJI Phantom 3 Professional review compare video

@John Locke , I have a few friends with Solo, but they all seem to be hardcore GoPro fans, using this camera for some other applications. I think that the Solo is a nice machine, but share your opinion of the camera (great POV cam, not that great for aerials, forget about still photography). I...

    Podcast episode #75?

@Gator , Erick is chipping away on it and told me he'll post tonight, he just got back from Toledo last night, so needed his beauty rest:)

3DR Solo vs DJI Phantom 3 Professional review compare video

I think that DJIs service has evolved tremendously, and actually have to compliment them. Three years ago, it took 12 weeks (!) to fix my Zenmuse gimbal, which I had to ship to China (luckily a warranty repair). About 18 months ago, I had to send another Zenmuse in (my GH4, bricked after...

    A place for mourning?

I am not a huge fan of the "transceivers" with the little screen in the middle of them. While it's a pretty elegant solution, it forces the operator to look down a bit too much & too often to my taste. I actually build a rig that keeps the screen "in my face", so I can quickly go from looking at...

Welcome to the batteries and chargers forum on dronevibes

@PJ Brewer , I've had a very good luck with Pulse batteries, also just got my hands on the 22oooMah Venom Drone Battery, which seems to work pretty well at the right price. I've been mostly using Venom batteries in my other RCs (planes, trucks), and never had a problem with one.

Phantom 4 announced today and the specs look good

Hey John, thank you, appreciate your kind words. 25 minutes is the most I got, and this particular flight was mostly spent hovering when we were doing P3P vs P4 photo comparison. Any other flights are still well over 20 minutes, which is a welcome improvement over the P3. Sport mode cuts down on...
