It can work with any ESC/motor combination but requires configuration. Out of the box it has profiles set up for all XAircraft products but you will have to set up a custom config for a different motor/ESC combo. It isn't very difficult to do.

No, just a single UBEC. The UBEC has a 3pin plug you put into any open port on the FC and then a power supply you hook up to power. From that it supplies regulated power to the whole system. You have to remove the red wires from the ESCs because they have a BEC built in that will mess up the UBEC
