A nice motor for a great price

Still not sure on the FC board...was thinking MK or ardupirate? Did consider H/F pro, but a few on other forums have had bad experiences with them :( Now I'm worried :( hope the GT's last longer than 5 hours, hence why I got 10 incase of failures. I can always upgrade the bearings if needed...

Ken & now Dave have saved me a fortune already, mine will NOT be HF pro. I asked the guy who makes them on another forum all about them, he gave me loads of info (could have been on wattflyer or RCgroups), then after 4 email exchanges I asked about the problems I had heard about...guess what? NO...

    New forum area idea

Dave, they cant prosecute for the truth!!! At the end of the day its legal talk & not lawful, there is a world of difference between the two, just ask a copper, bet he cant tell you the difference! Legal applies to the PERSON..NOT the human being, legal is designed for corporations, like your...

Line of sight with the heli, she's a handful at the best of times, one of the downsides of using a 3D heli for aerial work! Ross

Human Powered Quad getting ready for test flight

:rolleyes:Anticlimax I think in my opinion they need to reduce rotor size, make them clark Y or under cambered section (like glider) & alter the gearing to make the main rotors spin faster, he little legs were going like a belt fed wombat but the rotors were hardly spinning! A lot more work...

Human Powered Quad getting ready for test flight

Watching it now, I think they have the wrong blade section, they need an undercambered section like used on gliders. Ross

I suppose I'm luckier than most as my fiancee is also my aerial cam operator, she controls anything to do with the camera I just fly ;) My trex600ESP carries my Canon 40D up to great height, I try & hover (very hard at height) whilst she controls the cam, well thats the theory behind it, but the...
