    Hello from Germany

I find the price of the Bl-Ctrl 2.0 a bet to expensive for my liking, so I went for the I2C to PWM convertor from abusemark website. I will be following your build with interest, as I'm a complete newb to MR aircraft ;) Ross

    Hello from Germany

Hi Dirk, I to am also waiting on Rob & Linda to send out a CS8, it was a droidworx octo that made me decide they are more stable than a maxi joker 3 for filming. Are you going to keep with your current equipment or or you going to change anything? I went with a 2820/07 motor & 50A ESC's...

    Placement video transmitter on frame

Screened cables are a must with all those electronics. Keep the video TX as far away from the electronics as possible.

Where does one get the TC from? Ross

    Hi everyone

I2C??? I like the idea of standard ESC's, the troble with MK controllers is the small current (25A) from memory, my motors might well draw 50A each!!!!!!!!! Ross

Bullet Bitten _ Now do I need a bigger ship!

Only found it last night myself after searching for canon 40D hacks, but that 550D should be beautiful once patched. Ross

Dave, go to range video & they have the DX201 there, even better go to youtube & search for DX201, the results are stunning, its a tiny pixim camera & can be programmed from a plug in lead/box...worth ever penny in my book. Ross

    Dream Camera Lens Combos

You can find all lenses field of view (FOV) if you go to thier respective manufacturers website. I use a set square with degrees graduation & overlay on a OS map before going to a shoot, that way I can make a choice of what lens would be best to get all in that I want, it also means I can be...

    Commercial Photo and Video-photography

Nice flying Jeff, love the location. Dave, FPV is very easy, a DX201 + transmitter of your choice...5.8GHz has very good transmission properties & smaller antennas. I also use 1.3GHz, but not happy with the crap standard antennas available, so have to make our own. Ross

    Dream Camera Lens Combos

epants = ebay Nice lenses & cameras, but ALL zoom lenses have massive weight, hence why I suggested a fixed focus lens. I have a 28-70mm F2.8 sigma, but I never use it on my aerial ship, I stick with the 28mm as that is what the human eye sees (crop factor taken into account). Ross

    Dream Camera Lens Combos

Canon or even a good sigma Ross

    Dream Camera Lens Combos

Allowing for the multiplication factor of the 550D, a 28mm F1.2 or F1.8 lens would give you the same field of view as the human eye, they are light lenses & can be bought for a good price on epants. Ross
