one thing i dont like as I assemble my hovefly pro is that they want you to use only 1 BEC input from the ESC's. So if that 1 bec fails from 1 of my 8 esc's the whole thing is going to crash. Is it better to just use a separate BEC than rely on 1 of the ESC's built in BEC's?

Things get lost on here really quickly. I know it can be frustrating when you need answers quickly. You will be fine with the 30 amp esc's. You can even run 12" apc SF props and be fine. You might want to get into a hex eventually as it will not work so hard to lift that load. But 4 avrotos...

I would eliminate anything not necessary to test this, like the fatsharks. use only things you know work. Did you test voltage coming from Vtx? make sure hdmi cable works on its own. I know last hdmi converter I had I tried some things to make it work and turned out to be I wasn't supplying...

I am curious if using 2 separate 2.4ghz radios for a dual operator is not advised. I have a JR 9503 for the heli and am trying to pick out a cheap radio to control the gimbal only.
