Yeah, thats the concern, raising the red flag for ALL rc helis. This stuff is cumulative. I still think the best thing is to talk to the guy flying it and just make sure he knows what he is getting into. Send him to this link here so we can all talk him out of doing something potentially stupid.

I was always confused by this as well. with smaller helis I think you spin a smaller prop faster but on your average to large heli I think the idea is to spin a larger prop with lower KV motors. I would think it all works out to be the same but everyone I know uses 15" or 16" props on their 6s...

I never understood this time limit thing. I thought the 4gig file limit was strictly due to using the fat32 file system. They did say once it reaches that level it automatically makes a new file now.

You will have to get a feel for every individual heli but it's normally more rudder than aileron. I find it helps to try and keep a constant forward speed in a turn. You really should get a simulator to figure all this out before you make the "big" crash with your hex. A plane naturally banks...
