how different is that from liquid electrical tape? I have certainly thought about slathering some of my boards in that stuff.

It's hard to tell. I have compared mercalli to warp and warp seems to not soften the image so much. But mercalli has worked better in some situations where warp didnt. I wouldnt know how to tell ahead of time which one to use but it seems to be good to have both of them on hand.

I am absolutely sold on Hoverfly, yes. All around great company and product. The only way i will ever get another DJI product is if i am required to own a Zenmuse in the future but that would take a lot to go back to the dark side. But who knows, things change so damn fast anything could happen.

I think you have way too many ear plugs on that gimbal! The idea is to use fewer of them so they actually absorb the weight of the camera. Just a thought. As of yesterday, I am DJI FREE! It's a great feeling. I can actually talk to the guys who make my flight controller now! how about that!

I have the hoverfly pro on my XY8 and the tops are CW/bottoms CCW as you say. But I have Xoar props that are 12x5 top and 12x7 bottom. Seems to be fine.

I love those trick aluminum arms he has on that quad. I wouldnt imagine the steady shot is quick enough to get rid of the jelloing.

UNLESS you have one of Bart's XY8's. Which is what I have. You get the best of all worlds. Compact, easier to identify orientation in air, no props in forward view, better in wind, good redundancy.... Chime in here Bart?>
