The iPad version also used the PC program. So you get the same benefits as the old hardware in a new interface if you want it. I have tried my LK900 with the new PC software on my A2 it works. I agree that the LK900 will never support BT connection. But I see no reason why it would not...

Personally, I would go with the Phantom 1.1.1. Comes with a Tx, lipo and charger. It also has the Naza V2. Yes it is more expensive but not much and it will be ready to fly out of the box. I gave my son and son-in-law one and they have a lot of fun flying them.

Matto, it is. I actually just checked an I now have 12 channels mapped in the Tx and the same in Assistant.

I use MLT2. You have to assign the channels in in your tx and then map them in Assistant. I have a 8FGS as well and I have been able to map 9 channels so far. I am loping for the last three to control the Z15 for single operator.

When you do an upgrade you need to reset everything to default, do the advanced IMU calibration and your problem is that it also resets the RC Receiver type. Check that and you can complete the set up.

I got mine to work last night. I just had to hold down the Control Key to get it to open. Both the A2 and P2 work now.
