Yeah, I might sell the tele controller as well. I forgot what I paid for it, wasnt much, roughly $200 or less. You interested in the package? I do have some clips but they are not uploaded. Let me check and get back.

    XY8 for sale ARF. $2400

Sure, $7500. I have actually had an offer to buy this heli for $12000. Didnt end up working out due to timing. But what one has to understand when buying a heli is how much time do they have to fine tune everything. This is never as easy as it sounds and I have put many many months of work...

Camera slider with motion control. $450

Apparently some jack *** thought it would be funny to hack my craigslist posting! I guess my mistake for posting the management link instead of the ad link. Oh well, live and learn.

Camera slider with motion control. $450

Yes. Quite a bit of that actually. It's not like a little bramper but slow enough to go 6' in a few hours. I also used a telescope control head for 3axis. I made the controllers. There is just a pot and a control board. I used various gears/motors to get the speed I want.

    Quad pole balancing

Skynet! haha. Actually one of the more recent videos with these small quads performing a circus act was done without mocap.

Preventing a MR from taking off inadvertently

Or you could make a rig to bolt the Heli down. Or throw a beach towel over the props.

Show what you filmed - Post Your Video Here

hope I'm not hacking this thread. But do you know if the gh3 fits in the av130? You're reminding me that I have my Y6/av130 setup thats been put on hold. I used this exclusively for shooting by myself but it lacked as a 2 person setup. I agree though, it is one of the best layouts.

    New tricopter for me

Pretty good flying considering you are in an open building(turbulence) and flying in 25mph! I still dont really understand how a tri works, it's the one config I havent played with. Doesnt it need a servo to steer? What was the draw to this over a quad? I can see the perk of not having any...

    Hoverfly Firmware Updates

This is the sign of a great company! I would never expect to hear this from anyone else either. I haven't yet tried the newer 3 fw but after a statement like this I will try the next one. :) thanks for being real. Honesty goes a long way.

    Motor alignment tips and tricks

I also dont think it matters so much that all these measurements are so critical. the one thing that is though is the squareness of the motors on a coaxial. especially the Y6! But I feel as though you could have as much as an inch difference in length and never ever notice any difference...

    Beginner Flight Controller?

I couldnt agree with you more Pete. That will be one good argument for a license. I too would say the Naza is your best bet. But the KK will get you flying for very little. As an alternative, you might try buying one of those walkera ladybirds to learn on. No point in spending more than you...

    wkm will not RTH!

Just as an experiment try unchecking the gimbal on/off box and see what happens. Since you said it started happening after you added a gimbal that would seem the logical next step. Next I would make sure your radio is setup correctly. No mixing on that one channel with anything related to...

    Motor alignment tips and tricks

You could make a small alignment hole in each arm once you have the position dialed in. Or maybe better, a precision dash that you visually line up. Print some up!

    Motor alignment tips and tricks

I use my CNC router as a true flat surface. Loosen all the arm clamps enough that it will relax into the right position, then I use a square. On one hex a while back I decided to CNC out a template that had holes for the prop shafts to stick into, ensuring exact distance from the center. But...

    XY8 for sale ARF. $2400

I would only consider a flat octo as a replacement. I'm honestly not sure if it is worth the hassle though. This thing works and is very compact for what it lifts. the benefits of the XY are much greater than that of the flat octo but there are a few things that are nice about a ginormous...

    XY8 for sale ARF. $2400

with the 2814's on there and 12" APC props it is good to lift a gh3/cx760. It could easily lift a dslr but i dont like pushing things. I would not rate a machine with 2814's a heavy lift machine though.
