Almost would seem it had something to do with your fpv gear being activated. You didn't unplug the battery in between flights? Weird. That just makes no sense. It's just a different value as far as the fc is concerned. I'd put myoney on interference. Try flying further without fpv. Weird.

The av200 is a good gimbal. I'd stay away from that skyline though. Haven't you seem the 200+ page thread of frustrated users? Maybe they got it figured out. Just know that there is no easy solution. The Zenmuse seems to be the only thing to work right out the box but no dslr support.

Also balance the camera on the gimbal itself. Take the belts off to really see where it wants to be. Balancing props and motors is a must. You really shouldn't be flying a 5d until you have everything ironed out. Put a dummy weight in their for testing. No point in dumping $4500 of camera for...

Make sure the appropriate prop will fit as well. Those tips could be touching on a normal octo. A good reason to go with an x8. 400kv would be spinning some large props, like 15".

I added 2 tabs on the bottom, 1 for the video transmitter and the other for possibly a OSD. but like you say, when you consider the extras like BEC and line conditioners it is gonna be tight. It would be really nice if other manufacturers would add OSD to the system. the hoverfly pro is great...

I posted this before, but this was my first Fold-N-Fly FPV test from a while back. I never balanced anything.

Here's some pics from the upcoming manual. It sounds like there will be yet another release that has locking arms. They dont need locks to keep the arms in place which is why i didnt do it. But I do think it will be easier for people to just pull them out and have them hit a perfect 90deg...
