    Hoverfly ESC's recommandation

It seems to me more people have issues with the ice than success based on threads on this forum. Am I wrong about that? I personally use Turnigy plush, which were the recommended ESC before Hoverfly started pushing castle. And as much as i would rather have an american made esc, they are more...

Hoverfly PRO/GPS Firmware Update v4.8 Beta

Almost would seem it had something to do with your fpv gear being activated. You didn't unplug the battery in between flights? Weird. That just makes no sense. It's just a different value as far as the fc is concerned. I'd put myoney on interference. Try flying further without fpv. Weird.

Really struggling with stable footage when flying my 5d Mark III

The av200 is a good gimbal. I'd stay away from that skyline though. Haven't you seem the 200+ page thread of frustrated users? Maybe they got it figured out. Just know that there is no easy solution. The Zenmuse seems to be the only thing to work right out the box but no dslr support.

Really struggling with stable footage when flying my 5d Mark III

Also balance the camera on the gimbal itself. Take the belts off to really see where it wants to be. Balancing props and motors is a must. You really shouldn't be flying a 5d until you have everything ironed out. Put a dummy weight in their for testing. No point in dumping $4500 of camera for...

Do you think these would interfere with my tx signal?

    I got bit, badly...

crap! I guess the beach towel tip only works if you throw it on the heli first. Sorry man. Perhaps it's good that Hoverfly added the annoying beeps for this very reason.

So who does make the best Multirotor controller.

I think naming a "best" is impossible as they all have their perks. even if one of them had every function, flew in 30mph, was easy to setup, perfect gps lock, great in all modes, no firmware issues....it would prbably cost $10k. I'm sure we will start seeing more for less. Maybe what would...

Tiger Motors 4014 330kv or 400kv - which would you chose.

Make sure the appropriate prop will fit as well. Those tips could be touching on a normal octo. A good reason to go with an x8. 400kv would be spinning some large props, like 15".

Product Review - Fold N' Fly Quad

I added 2 tabs on the bottom, 1 for the video transmitter and the other for possibly a OSD. but like you say, when you consider the extras like BEC and line conditioners it is gonna be tight. It would be really nice if other manufacturers would add OSD to the system. the hoverfly pro is great...

Product Review - Fold N' Fly Quad

Here's some pics from the upcoming manual. It sounds like there will be yet another release that has locking arms. They dont need locks to keep the arms in place which is why i didnt do it. But I do think it will be easier for people to just pull them out and have them hit a perfect 90deg...

Ritewing Zephyr 2 with UHF and 2.4Ghz tx/vtx

Never flown. I cut out the bays for a Sony nex5n which would be best off adding the wing tips to safely lift. everything listed is brand new and never flown yet I have tested to see if things power up and everything works. Motor/esc/folding prop/prop savers- cost $160 EZ UHF with all...
