The motors need to be level with each other first. Not level to the ground first. I haven't used a bubble level in years. I use a straight edge and make sure each motor is level with the ones next to it. Do this and your motors will spin at the same RPM on average. Jeff Posted using Tapatalk

    XAircraft SuperX

You've got a motor (or motors) that is not level. This would cause a yaw situation so the SuperX compensates by either powering the counter motors less or the clockwise motors more (usually a combination of both). I'm not sure if the SuperX manual talks about this but I'm pretty sure the...

    XAircraft SuperX

Is this a fully stock X650Pro? What I mean is, are you using XAircraft ESCs? Because this looks like a calibration issue to me. If this is a fully XAircraft unit, then you only have to do the calibrations as per the SuperX manual (and shame on you if you haven't done that). If it is another...

Let me get this straight, you threw the SuperX GPS in the trash? :dejection: Jeff

    XAircraft Tarot t810 Hexacopter Frame

No problem here. Just wanted to make sure he knew where he was posting. Sometimes people post to the wrong thread. As you've got the same frame (the impression I get), I guess we will find out how a SuperX flies on that frame. :tennis: Jeff

You do realize that this is the XAircraft threads? I.e. People would like to know how an XAircraft SuperX works on that frame. Just a thought. Jeff

I pretty well calibrate my compass each new location I go (or if I go on different days). I've gotten pretty good at it and usually nail it each time. Only takes a minute. Jeff Posted using Tapatalk

There's your answer. You cannot calibrate the compass while indoors. It MUST be calibrated while outside. And away from metal objects and building if possible. Also try to calibrate while away from any power sources. Here is the latest manual. Check page 17 on calibrating the compass...

    XAircraft SuperX

It may be just me, but that looks like the solid YELLOW LED (which almost looks like a pale green). Did you calibrate your compass properly? Even your description of the problem sounds like it's the yellow led of an uncalibrated compass. The reason I say this is there is only one solid color...

Actually what you had was a FC1212P/AHRS-2. Only testers got an AHRS-P. Only about a dozen AHRS-P were sent out and they were all test units. The AHRS-P never went into production. It looked very much like the SuperX unit and worked so well that when XAircraft asked us to return them with...

XAircraft My Xaircraft SuperX Experience and Observations

Not to my knowledge. But I have to admit, I haven't tested the released version of 1.0.8 (I beta tested it but there were changes to the final version). Thus, maybe they changed the arming in 1.0.8. Too much freezing rain here right now to do any flying. I could bench test it though. Might...

I have three SuperX's also. I'm also a test pilot for XAircraft. I can tell you that something is wrong on YOUR end. The props DO spin when I arm all three of my units. Jeff

XAircraft Super X on TBS Discovery

I'm really not sure why the SuperX (up till now) didn't support an asymmetrical frame. Maybe it does in the new firmware 1.0.8. Anyway, I'm pretty sure if it doesn't support it, it will at some future point. Check out the below video of a frame that XAircraft tested on for quite a long time...

    XAircraft SuperX

We had quite a discussion a few pages back about "carefree" or "heading lock". While I don't know if they will add it to the SuperX (I'll ask), I do know they did quite a bit of work with it on the predecessor to the SuperX, the FC1212P/AHRS-P. Here is a video of XAircraft in China testing...

I didn't say fly from or near metal objects, I said "don't CALIBRATE near" metal objects. Just be aware the steel boat "may" cause some problems when you get near to it but the SuperX has new firmware ( 1.0.8 ) that lets it use GPS only if the compass fails due to interference. But always...

    XAircraft SuperX

Lets just say, don't EVER calibrate near a metal object. Get as far away from any metal as possible when calibrating. And the question, "what if I can't get far away from a metal object?" doesn't cut it. You MUST get away from the metal object when calibrating. Period. To answer, what if I...
