Probably not. Your unit would have left the factory in a sealed package with 1.0.7. 1.0.8 won't get through the supply chain for a while. You could of course ask Drew to open your package and do the upgrade for you before he ships (this is assuming you bought from Drew). Jeff

To answer your question first, yes, all you have to do is remove the GPS module and it has been disabled. Now why would flying near the Arctic Circle have any effect on GPS? The Arctic Circle is just a line drawn on a map. GPS doesn't know anything about it. Jeff

Your motors are SUPPOSED to disarm if you don't apply throttle before 3 seconds. The idea here is you don't arm the motors until you are ready to fly. Arming of the SuperX is not like other flight controllers. RTFM. Jeff
