Here is several version of firmware that I've still have on hand. The settings pack should work with 1.31 or 1.34 of the firmware. Also you can find different versions of the firmware here...

That could be. But my question is (and it's not directed at you, more of a rhetorical question or a thinking out loud question), why did the OPTO ESCs work with firmware 1.07 and not 1.08. I'm assuming (I know ;-) ) that the guys who had the OPTO ESCs working didn't do any special wiring. But...

Normally the BEC in an ESC powers the flight controller/RX. Because the SuperX has a built in BEC, it gets it's power directly from the battery, no bec in the ESC is required. The ESC get's it's power directly from the battery. The OPTOs just don't "output" power to the FC like regular ESCs...
