Thanks, that's what I'm looking for, I'll poke around and see if I can source some 8mm od x 5mm id tube locally. I'm in no big hurry as I've only got one set of graupners with a spare for each direction, the cheap props I got for bashing around fit the motor like a glove.

Figures, my new motors have a 5mm shaft and the only 5mm adapter I see listed is 13 dollars, I'll figure something else out on mounting the graupners. Amazing how much BIGGER these are...

You have a better quality rec. than I do... I'm still using the one that came with my Tx, but it's all good cuzz I always crash only about thirty feet from where I'm standing. :shame: I'd have a go at Ed's advice, he's pretty savvy about these rigs.

Try it on one, my rec. doesn't use the tabs, just friction and they're pretty tight. A fingernail clipper should do the trick.

I don't know anything about the AR8000, I'm using the tiny park flyer AR6115e that came with my Tx. Everything plugged right in with the cables supplied with the naza, not sure why you'd have a different type of 3 pin cable.

from my understanding the 4s batts spin the props faster. To Sotomatic, make sure you also have the stuff to make a battery lead from the quad, the 450 doesn't come with one so you'll have to supply your own. You'll have to decide which connector type you want (deans, bullet, etc.)

Get more than 2 batts, it's hard to learn when you only get 15 min. of fly time. Order extra props and maybe go heavier on the ccw props, for some reason these were the ones I broke more frequently. Have fun these things are a hoot!

Don't stick your hands in a flying 6 bladed blender that's having issues while holding the throttle controller in the other hand. just sayin... The atti hold on my naza is super sensitive, if it's not nuts on 50% it's either raising or lowering. Makes it hard when I'm ruddering to not bump...

Yes I had a hard time with orientation. The quad was about 100ft away from me. The landing gear just clipped the top of the fence and sent the quad cartwheeling. I may have to consider some led's, but I don't think it will help with my lack of depth perception.:black_eyed:
