I'd have to say the DJI gimble with servo's seemed the most fluid although the new carbon fiber stuff from PH (wasn't hooked up to servos) was pretty darn smooth too. Really though I think it comes down to how it performs in the air with all the variables that entails.

The DJI S800's ESC isn't in the arm, it sits under the motor, you can't tell, looks like a normal motor setup.

I have the same problem with my naza, just a slight twitch every other second or so. I've got the gopro gimbal from Rob at aeroXcraft and he suggest not powering your gimbal directly from the naza but from a 6v. ubec. I'm waiting for them to get here in the mail so I can't say this works yet...
