Caught on camera, multirotor crashes into crowd at Great Bull Run

The NTSB had opened a docket on this one, you guys should adopt CAP 722 from the UK or Canadian system for regs. The DHS is going to require at least 1000 hours of demonstrated flight of a system before they test it. That's not one platform it could 1000 Phantoms flying for an hour each, they...

Caught on camera, multirotor crashes into crowd at Great Bull Run

Yes we found out it was him long before the news crews, just by asking the event who happily gave us his email address. They are also culpable IMHO for not doing due dilligence. Of course Scott denied it was his airframe when sUAS News discovered it before WTVR and other outlets...

China already has, they somehow got hold of some and reversed engineered them. They have been seen on the back of boats off Taiwan.

    GPS Jamming, threat to Mulitrotors

Well..... pull up a sandbag. Back in the day you would not want to fiddle on a Thursday as we used to have the Thursday war in which most of the westcountry was radar denied due jamming. Plainly that would have been a bad idea on a Friday because it had the potential to ruin the weekend...

    Why frames are soo expensive?

Putting flame proof suit on. A quad is only two sticks and four motors. Things are expensive as you make them. Cutting your own frame out of plywood or using hardware store square stock works. I made a hex like this a couple of years ago, this guys thread is better...

Oh dear sorry to read the news Oleg, I know how much effort you put in back in the day. I too feel ashamed of believing what I did when I was there and am only just getting back into multirotor flying a couple of years later. The politics in such simple machines are just amazing. Trampling on...

    Chrome browser doesn't love MultiRotorForums.com!

You sure its not vBulletin not keeping up with what browsers expect. I had to completely revamp my site a couple of months ago as so much was to out of date on lots of platforms. A real pain. Right now though I think making sure the site works on Chrome would be my #1 thing to do!
