Need a budget motor similar to AVRoto/MT2814-10 2814 size 750-770kv

I'm running the carbon reinforced 10", for my hex I have some 11's and 12's. When I tried the graupners I was at like 70% throttle just to get it to hover using 3s batt carrying a hard mount gopro on my 450. But then I see guys like you running a comparable motor tearing it up, very frustrating...

Need a budget motor similar to AVRoto/MT2814-10 2814 size 750-770kv

I'm running a set on my 450 quad using the stock dji 30amp opto's and the esc's have never finished a flight hot...yet. I've yet to be able to get the 10" graupners to work on them though, don't get enough lift. I'll be running exceed rc 40amp optos on the hex I'm building since it will be...

    I need help

F450 for the win all the way, no doubt about it. The arms are cheaper to replace, quicker assembly, integrated power distro, women flock to f450 owners like it's some kind of chinese aphrodisiac. If none of these reasons appeal to you then by all means go with the x450. There, did that help...

transition from hero2 to t2i, suggestions...

Something we always do on car rigs after we've dialed in the rig and camera placement is to wrap the camera and whatever plate it's sitting on with an Ace bandage. You don't have to use an Ace but some kind of tether would probably be wise. I had an AC not tighten down a dovetail plate once on...

Hoverfly XY8 Coaxial Quad build with Hoverfly Pro

That's what I did Yuri-of course my hex is totally ghetto compared to the stuff you and Bart are doing, but I needed to be able to take the arms off without to much effort and also able to do field repairs without needing soldering gear.

    av200 vibration

Yeah but don't all vibrations start at either the props or the motors? The footage just reminds me of some stuff I shot that looked ok until I gave throttle and I'd get a high pitched vibe. I thought I balance the props but I redid them and lo and behold I wasn't getting the vibe anymore, of...

    av200 vibration

Maybe check your props for balance, vibrations seemed more consistent when you were adding throttle. Do you have any kind of vibration dampers between the av200 and your copter? Interesting house there.

    DJI Naza GPS Pricinig

I ordered one from Rob@uavproducts along with another naza so I don't have to gut my 450, I'm psyched! Plus I moved up to a dx8 from a dx6i so i'll have a little room to play. You think you'll ever try it on a hex? thanks!-tom

Post Production Softare? What do you use?

Hi rdalemercer, if you're on mac-imovie does what you'll need to understand basic workflow, add transitions, music, titles, fade in fade outs, etc. I have a laptop that has windows movie maker, haven't messed around with it but appears to have about the same things. My son uses Sony Vegas and...

    F450 NAZA FPV Rig

Wow! Of all the places you could of crashed, I think your copter picked the best one. Nice flying, try some rainX on the gopro lens cover, it works great for beading moisture off. Again, smooth sticks dood!
