Hey Doug, I did the same exact thing. I have got mine "close" to original, but now my radio doesn't show the info from the Iris+. I can fly, all the modes work, just no info back to the radio screen. I thought I had read enough, before I got my Iris+, but I was wrong! Just a suspicion here, but...

Price wise, any of the Naza MC's hold pretty well. Naza Lite w/GPS go for around $150 or so, my next pick, but cost more would be the Pixhawk 3DR stuff. If you're just getting started, I'd recommend the Naza Lite.

Too long of a motor mounting screw, can cause all kinds of strange behavior, ask me how I know.....
