All I can add, is that I know the GPS socket for the GPS on PIXHAWK, is 6 pins, on the older APM's, (2.5 2.6) it is only 5 pin.

I do believe you have to use a laptop/netbook to run Mission Planner. Then you can connect wireless via the 3DR radio's, and do the compass thing, with no wire attached to the Iris+

So you did one turn with it flat, till the light changes, then point it down and do another turn until the light goes solid, right? Usually on the second turn, I have to go just a tad past 360 degrees before the light goes solid. Or it could be the gyros out of calibration.???

I bought a multimeter that will do those measurements, also after watching that video, but haven't tried it yet. It would be interesting to test a handful of motors, and see how much of a difference there is. BTW, what are you using to remove those damned iddy biddy circlips ????
