Excellent work Scott! Out of curiosity, are you planning to do any aerial video with this now? The only reason I ask is that I am unsure where you would mount a GoPro type camera on this setup with the battery box on the bottom such as it is. It is tough for me to judge scale in pictures but...

Welcome!!! I am just starting out in this hobby and will be using the KK2.1 for my first board. An inexpensive setup so that I can learn the basics and construction of my quad. After that I hope to get into building an AP platform but that is well into the future! You joined a great site!!!

I agree with you Totuccio...it was not a helpful response. Have you looked at the other areas of the forum? I think this is a good area but maybe ask in the futaba area in another forum? Hopefully someone can come and help!

+2 I'm with Moto as well on this one! I ordered a kk2.1 as well a week or so ago ( should have gotten a spare at that price) and seeing that this is a learning quad as well, I think it will be just fine! I might end up with a different frame ...still trying to decide. PS .... What...

It means "Read The Full Manual". Some folks insert another word for "full" I wish I could help but have no experience with your setup.

Awesome job on the build so far Moto!!! It truly does look like a Japanese Pagoda!! What did you get for a power distro board? Could you have made a wire harness that you could zip to the arms/frame and eliminate the extra plate of the power distro board? I think that is what you are getting...
