Remember, this started as a Kickstarter about a year ago. It was a decent package back then. Had it been delivered when originally promised instead of six months late, it might have been a different story.

I've been using an eBay-purchased version of the board, and it works great. I use the 12V tap for my whole FPV system (Tarot gimbal, flight cam, vTX) and the 5V to charge my GoPro in flight. :cool:

My heavy lift X8 machine is 11+kg AUW, so an extra 550g is not a show-stopper if it works. But after doing a little more research, I doubt I can make it work with the Mikrokopter electronics I'm using. Seems it's very tightly integrated with the DJI A2 (which makes perfect sense, really).
