Hoverfly Hoverfly *** New firmware, ver .802

You guys really should try AutoLevel Smoothing on 10%. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. This is what I fly with.

    Hoverfly Hoverfly Gimbal Controller?

You can use the Roll/Tilt outputs on the PRO. Unless you want independent control. The HoverflyGIMBAL works a bit differently than the Roll/Tilt on the PRO. Of course I am very biased but the HoverflyGIMBAL is working amazingly well. The the only limit these days is the mechanics of the...

Hoverfly OSD and YAW issues .802

YAW if you yaw and the craft rises or falls you have a yaw imbalance caused by your motor alignment or Kv difference between motors. You will have to correct this on your hardware. This is not a software problem. After I fly I feel the temperature of all of the motors. If CW is hotter than...

Hoverfly Hoverfly *** New firmware, ver .802

BTW we do have a beta for X8 that uses alternating CW CCW top and bottom rather than all CW on top and all CCW on bottom. In addition it increases the RPM of the bottom propellers by 7%. This supposedly improves the X8 efficiency and stability quite a bit. It should also work on the XY but we...

    Hoverfly Gimbal horizon

That is for the HoverflyGIMBAL. StormRU you are using a HFP and the cinestar should work fine. Check your servo connection polarity. Please don't ask the same question in numerous posts.

New Equipment is Here (Cinestar 8 + HFP + 3xproV2)

Couple things. First yes you can enable AH and AL in flight. Second, upgrade your firmware on both the PRO/GPS to 4.3.802 and set your AL smoothness to 10% Third, the HoverflyGIMBAL is working extremely well. Honestly, the only limiting factor at this point are the Potentiometers on the...

Have we come too far too fast?

I would like to add to the discussion with a few cents... First, Hoverfly started 20 months ago just a very short time after Droidworx starting shipping. When we launched the HoverflyPRO there were some discussions and the MK system and that was about it. So in only 2 years this whole...

    Cinestar 8, Droidworx EMC918 or Skyjib 8 ??

We have some multi-rotor models not visible on our website capable of flying up to about 14 kg but more is possible in a custom build. The HoverflyPRO scales automatically and can utilize standard PWM ESCs. Let me know if you want to discuss this. www.hoverflytech.com

    Mk or DJI...

If you want to fly a Red then may I suggest Hoverfly. Of course I am biased but if you talk to others trying to use DJI or MK with larger payloads (like 12lbs for the Red Epic) you will find your self with far different performance than with the smaller multi-rotors. We have many customers...
