    Prop Pitch

A properly balanced propeller should not vibrate no matter what the pitch. Prop pitch is a measurement of how far the prop should move in space if propelling itself. So a prop with a pitch of 5 should move 5 inches forward for each revolution. A prop pitch of 6 should move 6 inches forward for...

AlexMos and other brushless gimbal controllers....what is the truth?

Brushless is it’s own beast. it takes MUCh patience and time to get it right. When right it’s awesome. But right can be like 80% of the time. Wind, temp, pressure, diff cam all play into it. It’s a never ending quest.

    led lighting for Hexcopter

Or just use the 4S balance port but use the 3rd cell wire and the ground wire, it will do the same thing. My rigs are on 6S so I get 6S female balance plugs and rip out all the wires but the 3rd cell wire and the ground. And run my LEDs from that. No issues what so ever.

    XAircraft X8 WKM - I6 SX comparison

Vulcan 1050mm Octo 24lbs and counting. Very nice response with SuperX. 800mm Hexacrafter hex loaded with 9lbs of payload at 21 lbs, flew great, RC Rotors 1050mm Hex with 3 axis and Gh3--- around 22lbs, flys amazing smooth and handles wind 25 mph + no issues.

    Mount for DJI Phantom Controller

Having the wifi “on” on a GoPro was found to be a huge reason for Phantom flyaways. Check out: http://www.readymaderc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_318&products_id=2066 Everything you need.

    Mount for DJI Phantom Controller

Are you suing wifi to connect the two? This is strongly cautioned against, as that can really cause an issue with your RC transmission!

Opinions wanted, which are the best motors out there for multirotors?

Commercial or hobby? Commercial the new T-Motors are really nice as are the new Avroto’s. Both are not cheap at around $140 a motor, but IMO totally worth it. Both are available in several versions to fit lifting needs.

    Hoverfly HF vs Xaircraft

I was having some issues with my 800mm Hex with a gimbal today, weird vibrations, so i hit the quick release and slapped on some $15 plastic landing gear and did the same as that video. I flew the hell out of my Ap rig. HAHA it was fun as hell and the super X handled everything. No tuning needed...

    Approving my first build..? :-)

Your set up seems solid. The motors are pretty similar to Avroto’s, so i’d suggest running a 4S set up. I’d get a 4000 - 6000mah 4S packs... any receiver will work, the smallest with the channels you need or get one with S-bus since your using Futaba. On 4S, 10’ - 12” props will work. personally...

Yea seriously. That was not cool. At any time you could have injured someone in a blink of an eye. nice flying, but please do it with more common sense.

    Hoverfly HF vs Xaircraft

I have 1 flight on the big Vulcan mantis frame. I was an idiot and maidened it in 25 mph winds.. HAHA It flew pretty decently with no gain adjustments, but I did not have good yaw authority. I’m gonna play around when the wind calms down later this week. The mantis arms did not seem to affect...

How do you surf MultiRotorForums.com? Poll attached

I think they were talking about the “New posts” button. It used to live on the second row of buttons on the far left. It only showed threads that had new posts, it was a different result than the “Active Threads’ button.
