Movi M5, Gremsy H6, Defy G2X, DJI Ronin-M, any others?

It seems they really should be separated by whether they come with a propriatary controller or not too. It seems Movi, Gremsy, Moza and of course the DJI stuff have their own controllers.

2 seperate gain settings on single switch

The knob definitely does it, but for only some of the gains if I recall. The other way to possibly do it is to assign a switch instead of the knob. You would adjust the end points of the switch to effect the Naza gains the way you want them - for instance switch up = 100 across the board, switch...

    New - Missing Something

Did you calibrate the ESCs? The calibration done with ease servo plugged directly to throttle out channel of the Rx.

2 seperate gain settings on single switch

When you say "gain" settings, you mean gains in the Naza? If so, I don't think that's possible. The Naza settings are fixed unless you switch them in flight with the smart phone app using Bluetooth. The taranis would be capable of doing this, if the Naza offered the feature - by setting up...

    GoPro gives the nod....DRONES!

I don't think their core market dislikes the lens on their current cameras. It plays to their hobbies. But getting into this new market, they seem savvy enough to read the writing on the wall. Again, I think the key will be whether they try to target pros, or go for the larger market share...

UPDATED!: Gremsy gStabi H6 initial Thoughts & Handheld Test (Video)

I see what you're saying about the yaw. Definitely needs the follow slowed down. More importantly, how the hell did you not break your neck on that ride, flinging that thing around like that? :) Was the multiple tunes required due to the direction of the mount?

    GoPro gives the nod....DRONES!

Agreed. The copter part is fairly simple, even for a company that's uninitiated. The challenge they will face is the gimbal. But then again, they're GoPro, so they could buy DJI if they're worried about it :)

Wow. Pretty impressive! Great work with slapping the GoPro footage in there. Really shows how much it was bouncing around. Thanks for posting.

    GoPro gives the nod....DRONES!

They have the money to develop and back this - and they don't need to go for the more discerning prosumer market if they don't want to. It will sell, and it will sell a TON! Their current (and past) products are themselves a built in marketing campaign. If dji can get the share they have now...

    R&D Hex for Survey/Imaging/Conservation

I don't think it will have too much flex at only a bit over 155mm. The aluminum angle I used was fairly thick (1/8"???) and rigid - but not so heavy to throw off a build. Extra stand offs even better.

    R&D Hex for Survey/Imaging/Conservation

The folding quad has 4 aluminum hex spacers that come down from the bottom plate. Does the hex not have these? Also, if you're making your own rail and QR, you are not married to 155mm.

If it's just the gimbal - just leave a bit on each side of where they'll connect to the grommets. You're going to want to gimbal centered for sure. The tarot length is for adding battery trays, moving gimbal out front and other nonsense you won't be dealing with :)

    R&D Hex for Survey/Imaging/Conservation

I got rubber grommets at the hardware store. If they don't have the size you need - Amazon typically has any size. I get my CF from him too. Great prices and pretty quick on the domestic shipping. Also, have him cut it if you're not comfortable with CF dust/splinters. I was lucky enough to be...

    Beep, Beep, Beeping ... ESCs!

The fact that you can get the motors to fire by cheating with the throttle stick a bit means you're close. Just to be methodical: 1a. make sure all sub trims (switches on the outside of radio) are centered. 1b. Do taranis stick calibration. 2. Then try changing the lower end point value to...

Problem cant' connect BT module to Multiwii pro w GPS!

Go back and watch that video. It looks as if you have the Tx going to Tx, and Rx going to Rx. These need to be flipped usually. I believe the diagram he shows demonstrates this.

Problem cant' connect BT module to Multiwii pro w GPS!

Sorry, I'm at a loss. I used a cheap FTDI board to do the connection - so I am unfamiliar with the arduino connection setup. One thing is clear - there is not a correct connection to the computer. So maybe try to trace that. You may have luck on the arduino forums? Also, we may need...
