yes to all you asked. no interference but you gotta make sure the bec isn't towards the hdmi converter. It works alright, no gps and to the best of my knowledge isn't using any sort of external position sensor so it's halfway there. this was un monitored gimbal control.... had a slight roll...

immersion is easiest, can go from 3s to 6s without a bec, has an internal 5v bec if you need it. The ib crazt Ultra Bluebeam or mad mushroom on the rx you can run the rubber duck on the tx.

mine don't work without power.... they did with a nex but not with this..... but then again my cameras in the shop for a broken hdmi. even then, i'd see it back feeding power to the immersion vtx when the camera is on. with an immersion vtx the 5v output is in the same pin row as video in...

look at he output frequency setting in the cam, try that 59.98hz instead of the 24 one..... I've had a problem with a certain vendor hdmi2av and the 24p mode... after that try a different converter you have 5v into the converter?

it sounds lke your using the preview output on the micro usb, not the hdmi output? My gh4 had to go back for the hdmi output came apart inside the body and quit working, but u until it did i had to plug/unplug/plug the hdmi into the camera and every once in a while it would take and turn on...

do you have the right pole counts in the alexmos gui? if your tilt shakes, lower the motor power or balance it better. eventualy you will hit a spot between shake and not breaking away. if not, needs a bigger motor on that axis You are up around where 4s starts working better Don't you just...
