the hdmi2av has a composite output that the vtx can transmit. I take the case off the converter, unsolder the rca plugs and solder in a servo wire that connects straight to the immersion vtx. nex cameras power the hdmi2av so all you would do if not modded like this is make an rca cable come from...

we dealt with them and articles after getting exemption and they were super professional and were just about the only ones that didn't skew what we told them. Much respect for aviation weekly keeping an open mind to this all.

most people use the HDMI2AV from amazon, you want the white one. There is one that is special to nex, or at least marketed towards but be careful, some are only PAL. It also takes a hdmi cable to get from the camera to the converter. We like the hyperthin cables

I'd do anything i had to skip over the zenmeuse one lens wonder.... i'd also skip over the a2 option and get a wookong if your forced to run that gimbal

under the hood is illegal in america at AMA fields cause so many cars burned down in the parking lots..... I've never had one go under hood, but have had a few leave while charging, just lit up in the kitchen but to be fair, was really beat up lipos that did it....

all there is focusing, ir cut filter or lens itself has something wrong with it. take a photo of what your seeing and maybe somebody can see the problem. usually cameras work or they don't

Things are sure changing quick now... just spent 3+ months doing all those skill lessons, now it's time to kick it up a notch and not a day too soon. Today was my first Dual Cross country, pretty simple, went 60 miles away, landed at a non controlled airport to full stop round robin and back...

theres two things resulting in that your seeing the camera is a 420 line,,,, that is PZ-0420 and i hated it something fierce. The other thing you see is the SD recording in 720-480 on the ground station..... but the camera sucked Here is 2.4 not so much range but with a pz-0513 and it's way...

My discos use the 500mw and i get good range out to 2 miles, then it slowly fades. there 1 watt stuff i've never hit a limit out to 10 miles in planes.... the 500mw needs a 5v power supply, the 1 watt are 12v and needs a power supply as well. I've always used the tried and true "buck converter"...
