How to get AlexMos to stop Vibrating? Hit it with a Hammer?

Another line of super solid frames that I found are the Famous Hobby Movi knockoffs at a seriously attractive price point. They're extremely well built as is all the FH stuff. Virtually identical to the Movi's http://www.uavmediapros.com/product-category Yes I'm their North American rep, but...

    Build a hoki drone

Nice job Hoki! Woot woot! Tidy up the wiring though (this is your conscience speaking lol). Loose wires can cause crashes or fly-aways if they break :) But very nice job. It looks better than my racer!

Have a look at FoxTech. I know Mr. Fu went through a few iterations with customer feedback helping to bring the quality of theirs up to standards. I haven't used them myself though.

Help with Tarot 680 build component list

Keep us updated Fernando. Yes $500 is a lot to join the club! I've been flying these FC's for several years now and have yet to do any serious autonomous missions lol. I generally like to film in Stabilize mode myself.

Large commercial machine with LIDAR with WP's - which FC?

Another strong endorsement for the xxxhawk system from me. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for your purposes.. The wetware you mention is of concern though as noted by others above ;)

Help with Tarot 680 build component list

PS: The best advice I can give is to not go out and run all the fancy bells and whistles like auto missions right away. Learn the basic functions first and fly your machine to make sure you're comfortable with it and then "learn as you go" testing the higher functions and toys. The FixHawk's...

They're all pretty much identical in functionality as they all run the same open source software. There may be differences in components on the boards but they all follow the same open source schematics as well. I'm not familiar with the Pix"hack" board though.

Air Plan 3 - iPhone & iPad - Now Available!

Yes a free version crippled in some way would boost sales I would think. Limited to saving one flight until you upgrade to the pro version or something. Most free apps are basically demos right?

How to get AlexMos to stop Vibrating? Hit it with a Hammer?

I didn't know the M5 uses AlexMos controllers. ;) (That was the comparison that was made Phobotic/AlexMos) But seriously you can't compare the Phobotic, or any other DIY controller for that matter, to something like a Movi without installing the controller ON the same frame. In this case an m5...

where to purchase lipos 8000mah or larger? Hobby King will no longer ship!

Try living in Canada.. We face issues at customs as well as with the couriers. :/

Agree with Bart. The price is reasonable if no advertising is displayed within the app. Nothing more annoying than ads in paid apps. (You might consider advertising here on the forums though) :) And yes due to limited market I feel the price is reasonable.

How to get AlexMos to stop Vibrating? Hit it with a Hammer?

Well ANY gimbal will need to be rebalanced when changing a lens! We have changed CAMERAS from 5D to Sony A7s on set with no need for retuning... A simple balance and good to go. Balancing whether fast or tedious is a matter of which FRAME you have and is nothing to do with the controller...

Hi Guys, Yes RcTimer USA is legit. That is Kendall Wells he's a decent guy and an ex cop. Well known on the forums, and I have bought from him a couple of times. Military precision in customer service and shipping. :)

How to get AlexMos to stop Vibrating? Hit it with a Hammer?

Hmmm, we have seen issues with aluminum as it has a tendency to ring. The motors put out a high frequency vibration that causes ringing that transfers to the IMU. This may be an area to look at with your current issue. Jakub and Phobotic gave up on aluminum as a material for this reason...

Yes I second the FixHawk from RCTIMER. High quality build at a good price. I see mixed reviews on the cheaper Chinese ones. I use the FixHawks myself. Telemetry frequencies depend on where you live. Some areas are 433 and others 915 info here...

How to get AlexMos to stop Vibrating? Hit it with a Hammer?

Ya, the Phobotic works good on high quality super well balanced gimbals. But as we cannot control the gimbal quality on the DIY front it's really up to the builder to get it right. I know your pain Robert. I threw a ton of cash out on cheap gimbals and controllers. Famous Hobby and Phobotic...

Oh PS: I'd suggest swapping out the NAZA for a Pixhawk or Fixhawk for a more professional system, and avoid future fly aways.
