    Video of Cartagena Colombia

Nicely done. Gives a nice flavor of the city. Did you have your GoPros set for a narrow field of view? I didn't notice the typical "fisheye" effect. Jack

    I've Seen the Light

I've been skeptical of the numerous claims of DJI props breaking in flight. I kept saying to myself (and others), "How can this happen?" Last night I experienced it for myself. While flying from my side yard, at about 30 feet in altitude, my F450 (with stock DJI props) fell from the sky...

Proposal to change the dji forum in 2 sections.

My suggestion is whatever is done, it should not be subjective. The Pro vs. Hobby distinction would be. A hardware breakdown would make more sense to me, and would be more definitive. Jack

Proposal to change the dji forum in 2 sections.

In the world of photography, the term "professional" or "pro" is generally accepted to mean someone who makes a living at photography. Don't see why that definition couldn't apply here. Jack

And how about a subset for frames with the red arms forward, and one with red arms toward the rear. Oh yeah...please correct the spelling of hobby. Jack

    Avroto 2814 Short Shaft

I'm running six on my hexa (duh!) with APC 12x6E props. I'm very happy with the performance. I used 3S Lips for a while---no problems. But I just switched to 4S for a little more lifting capacity. I'm getting 10 minutes with two 4S 4000s in parallel. Jack

Multiple Naza-powered Multis - Programming Question

I'll have to check---don't have the second Naza yet. I assumed the Assistant only read the connected unit when you selected READ, otherwise it was the last settings entered into the software. Sure would be nice if the manufacturer would browse these forums and offer input. Jack

Yeah, but it seems like there ought to be an easier way. Thanks for the idea. It may be the best way to deal with it. Jack

Multiple Naza-powered Multis - Programming Question

I have a Naza-powered hexa, and will soon have a Naza-powered quad. I'm wondering what is the preferred method of setting up different 'copters via the Assistant software? Do you use the same instance of the Assistant software for both a quad and a hexa (in my case)? Or do you setup a...

    I need a camera!

Whatever camera you choose will take similar photos in the air as on the ground. But you need to consider the weight of the camera and the MC's ability to carry it as well as how you'll actuate the shutter. Another consideration centers around whether or not you're going to simply point the...
