    Cell Tower Inspection

Not a chance! ..... If the cell tower transmission frequencies and power were not enough, they typically lease out tower space to competing cellular service providers that must operate at non-conflicting frequencies as well as others for a wide range of radio frequencies.

R_Lefebre, Your last couple of postings helped me to see that what was once difficult is quickly becoming easier.

    A2 Problems Catalogue

Any chance you could share a photo of that? I also used Kyosho Zeal tape under a NAZA controller on a Flamewheel 550 briefly for troubleshooting hard to eliminate motor vibration issues and it worked fine.

    Engineering Project

I faced the same challenge back in my final year of Engineering in 1975. Except for the obstacle avoidance, all the other features are all the shelf solutions that you can purchase. Even so the project will take you about 3 to 5 times as long as you might expect! That is the nature of...

    A2 Problems Catalogue

Snurre, That seems like a good info find to me. Yes doubling up on the sensors might help but seems overly complex. The anti-aliasing concept is still a bit vague too. Hope someone can explain it better.

Your dream drone and handling existing limitations

V2V may be a challenge as additional radio frequencies would be required to work without interference with other onboard radio transmitter. If V2V becomes mass produced for vehicles, the pricing will fall as it did originally for the fuel injection system accelerometers implemented many years ago.

A2 and 900mhz data link, will it work?

Thanks Ed...... sounds like a green light for my A2 with latest firmware and the old LK900 GCS system. With my custom high gain roof mounted omni antenna I should be able to get well beyond 10 kilometers which is more than adequate for a Multirotor.

    Course Lock

A2 allows course and home lock using RC radio with operator control....... should not be difficult for A2 firmware upgrade and/or datalink to allow for same. Have you considered mounting your camera BGC system sideways from normal forward flight heading for the immediate term?

    Too much power?

Schrodinger..... where went the cat? I am following the same strategy, i.e., test out the 3 axis BGC with GoPro on my Octo until I am satisfied with overall functionality before moving up but now with the new GoPro4 Black might stick with the lower AUW....a while longer.... makes the Octo look...

a Safe Reliable FLight control system for a heavy lifter

I configured and test flew one for a customer a while back and it was an easy setup (almost too easy). But later he was flying his rig and it dropped straight down from 200 feet.....with MR destroyed. I suspect it was either configured incorrectly or RTH was activated or the throttle was...

Glad to hear that. Please keep us posted on your new S800 flight results. If the issues disappear for the long haul, then there was a problem that they have fixed, i.e., hardware and/or firmware.

    Hong Kong Situation Not Good!
