XAircraft X650 - What gimble do people recommend?

Looking to start with my GoPro and possibly up to a Nex 5 later on (if I am brave enough to put it on!). Does the XAircraft own brand fit both? Are there any gimbals made for the X650 out there that can also tilt down whilst in flight to rotate the camera towards the ground?

Is the XAircraft own brand one the one most people go for?

XA one is good for the Gopro but too small for all but the smallest of point and shoots especially if you want to connect up the AV output.
I can fit my Canon S95 but not with AV plug. I use a small Canon A490 if I want live view. as the AV socket it high enough to clear the frame.
There is now parts availability for it.

I recently bought a nice gimbal from ReadymadeRC that I believe is made by JDrones. It comes as a kit, made up of well cut fibreglass plates and fitting that once you work out how to get them together correctly form a very solid gimbal mount. It is designed specifically for the Hero, and you can mount the camera with or without the protective case.

It was not expensive, and gives good control of both pitch and roll. IKt works great on my NAZA gimbals controller system.

Hi Bowley. Do you have the GoPro version of the mount or the CM130 version with the shutter control? If you have the CM130 version, does it work OK with GoPro without modification?
