Yesterday Quadcopters.co.uk took delivery of the first shipments of WKM View and Click to go and with very limited time I have been working on setting it all up.
So far I can say its currently only working on a 32 bit Windows machine , And It is pouring with rain here today so I wont have chance to get out and play with it , but it looks promising so far.
Once I am happy with this myself, I will remove the out of stock status from my website and will be taking orders.
A few pics attached.

HI Geoff,

is there a size difference between the 2.5 and the 900 version ? How big are the modules that go on the copter compared to the PMU for example ?

Thanks

Boris

Ah and copter module is only powered by the canbus and the groundstation module by the USB or they both need separate power ?

I only have the 2.4 version so cant compare sizes sorry , the tx modules are similar length to the PMU but just less than twice as wide so similar size to the MC main controller with a thin single cable antenna about 5" long.
The Tx on the copter is powered by the Canbus and the receiver for the ground station gets power from the USB .
I hope to have some nice weather to test tomorrow.

Very cool Geoff. I hope you get a chance to try it out soon. I am looking at the 900mHz with 1W! Should provide some great long range piloting.

it seem like you dont get the info what your gains are in when set from the radio ? that would have been very important for reassurance and just getting to know you copter better in different conditions. If it so its to bad this would have eased the whole setup and trimming procedure.

I've been tearing my hair out after installing the DJI Groundstation (900mhz downlink) on four machines only to find the Groundstation software hangs on start-up every time. I've disabled Anti-Virus software and have tried running in Safe Mode. After seeing the first post in this thread I am wondering if the problem is all my machines run 64-bit Windows 7 Professional. Could it be this software won't run on 64-bit machines? If so, this is a big problem for me. Has anybody else successfully run Groundstation on a 64-bit machine?

It states in the manual that it is 32bit only.

Have you gotten the new serial number to activate it yet? It needs to be activated before it can be used, you should contact the dealer you bought it from with the hardware ID from your WKM and they will get the new serial # from DJI. Once you install the new serial # you will see the functions activated in the Assistant software.

Yes you need to give your hardware Id number to your dealer and they will get you a serial which will activate the view function.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Keith,

Do you know if it was tested, or is Geoff assuming that there will be no interference.

I`ll like to be 110% sure before buying the upgrade

I have used the view 2.4ghz with no problems , I am still waiting for a nice day for click to go testing but DJI told me that it is 100% compatible with 2.4ghz radio using the 2.4ghz data link.
I also use 2.4ghz xbee data links with my MK without any issues.
Also 900mhz in the UK is a no no ,,, im sure Vodafone use it .

Hope this helps.
