WKM stability in GPS/ATT not as good as ATT mode

I have found that flying in attitude mode with my hexa it is much smoother (video smoother) than when it's in gps/att. In gps mode the footage has small "twitching" movement and it is especially less stable when descending. Has anyone else found this and if so would changing any of the advanced settings improve GPS mode and which ones?

You could try and reduce your vertical gain and increase your disturbed gain to about 80 and experiment from there.

Thanks for that, when you say 'increase' dsturbed gain, I have this set a default at the moment so I would be decreasing to 80 as well as reducing vertical from 100, is that what you mean?

thanks

Could you post your current gains? That would give me a better idea how you might adjust. Also what size copter are you flying?

Thanks, Andy. That helps. In your case with a larger, heavy hexa, I actually would raise the vertical. You can play with the disturbed setting. It effects the strength of the GPS lock on positioning. At least that is my understanding. As a point of reference, I have both my F450, fully loaded with WKM and Data Link, and my F550 stripped with only a Naza and a receiver, running 200/200/200/200 and 160/160. The advanced gains are at default. Both of them fly great, in calm conditions and in the wind. I use 10" Graupners on the F450 and 8" on the F550.

Hi Ed

Thanks for your input, it would help if DJI gave better instructions and some idea of what exactly each parameter does, I will try raising vertical gain and see what happens.
