Why am I getting NEX 5n flickering??

Could be due to propelers not being balanced, huge vibrations on s800, and wroge settings on the nex5.
We also have 1 client with the same problem and with all the help i provided he still did not find a solution to the problem. We got dji involved in how to fix this but so far no luck.
I have also read that some pancake lenses cause it. Well post some video so we can compare the results with the other videos.

Interesting, I have the same problem occasionally.
Specifically in bright sunlight with a shutter of 1/125.
I got rid of it by reducing the shutter to 1/60 but this is not the way forward when you do 1080 60p footage, the shutter should be +2x the frame rate.
Where did you read regarding the pancake lens?

Should I be using 1080p or 1080i?

you might try the manual focus + auto setting. its what I have been using the most. quick and easy. when I first got it I was manually setting everything. Missed a few shots that way and one day I tried the auto and was quite pleased. When I was manually setting things up, I would on occasion get the white flickering. But since I have been using auto - no such flickering. Might be worth a try. If you try it, LMK how it worked for you.

Manual focus
1080i 60fs
Apeture priority

It seems to start flickering when I take off...

At low rpms it is fine.

more likely is that it is the props casting shadows or throwing glare onto the lens. If you fly away from the sun and don't see it and then fly into the sun or slightly off angle and it shows up then it is sun glare. Try it with a lens hood.

The whole hexa was an RTF version from HobbyWing.

Sony Nex5r 1080p, 60fps, 1/125, f/8.0, ISO 200
With the same Alexmos config, please check the whole screen with vibrations and some kind of flickering, i cant explain why, happens only when i move the hexacopter, not when i hovering or when I am raising the hexa. Is driving me crazy.

Regards.
