Sorry, I should have been more clear. The total discharge does increase (because the capacity increases), but I meant that running 2 batteries in parallel doesn't increase the rate itself.

So the 15C rating doesn't double to 30C. Running in series (vs parallel) would change this equation.

But you are exactly right. The total discharge would increase to 480.

Now I see what you mean! The C-rating of the individual batteries does not change off course.
