Discussion What "drones" do you own?

I still have 7 helies, three of which I still fly including a Compass 700. About 7 years ago I spent a year crashing and mostly rebuilding smaller helies learning to fly. I had never done any RC flying! Sure helped when drones came along, they are easy to fly ! Setup a 550 heli I still have, to fly fpv but learned about jello in video real quick. Built a QAV540G and still have and fly it on regular basis. Can fly it out long range, like 2 miles. Got a little racer from Canada and stuffed Vector on it to mimic system on the QAV. Then got Vortex 285 and learned I am too old to ever race competitively but like flying it. Got an Indructrix to race in house and flat love it.

I do a lot of traveling and judge at sailing events so after a lot of looking at what I have and nitch I wanted to fill, bought a Karma and used GoPro Hero5 I had on it. The system works much better than reviews would tell you but it is not a Mavic that I did fly before making decision, but the Karma perfectly more than fills need I have (remember I have upgraded QAV540G with antenna tracking ground station, etc) plus the Karma Grip works very well, and in in package so Hero 5 for a lot less than a Mavic.

What drones do you own? Which one is your favorite? What kind of flying do you do?
I have a P2, a P3A, and Mavic. I also have a 730 size Aimtroix Evo One Y-6 Copter with Hitec 4108/40 Motors (320KV) and EagleTree electronics. The Y-6 makes a great camera platform and can carry any kind of camera along with the kitchen sink but it's not quite ready to fly yet as I need help setting up the EagleTree electronics and Taranis radio.

Having too much fun with the Mavic and Litchi missions to finish the Y-6. IMO the Mavic is the best buy for the money of all copters made today. It's a solid long distance flyer, more accurate, and handles 10-12 MPH gusty winds much better than the Phantom line.

You'll love the Eagle Tree system! As complicated as it looks, it's been refined to the point where it's actually very easy to set up. The OSD features are second to none.

The EagleTree system may be easy to set up for guys used to setting up RC systems but I'm an old school guy that flew RC back in the '70s and it's all complicated to me so I tend to buy off RTF kits. I can't even figure out how to set up the Taranis X9D from the factory settings to using it with the EagleTree system but admittedly I haven't put that much effort into it.

As amazing as this photo is, what really impresses me is the smile on your wife's face. She doesn't know, does she. I can hear it now "Hey sweety, look at the deal I got on an Inspire 2 - only $49.99 at Banggood!"

Funny guy. Meet my business partner. She knows, all too well, since she sets up the gigs and does the paperwork.
Lucky guy, me!

Pity. She should be, knowing that you're doing your very best to bring the bacon home. And that's a pretty darn outstanding 'very best' I see in your photos, by the way, so I'm not speaking lightly :)

Nice....I am new here and Done is my first time. My purpose for this Done is to fly video and photography. I have been watching all of drone reviews on YouTube an decided to go with Syma X8HG but I realized I should go with Syma X8HW with FPV for beginner. I see many guys have DJI drones I am jealous. I have seen only one guy with Syma X5C. I guess Syma is not good one?

I don't have any "drones". I do have two 450 FBL helis with Tarot ZYX S-2 gyros, a Tarot 680 Pro Hex with a Pixhawk, M8N GPS, 2 axis gimbal, retracts, 915mHz telemetry, Craft and Theory Flight Deck telemetry and OLED display and FlyTron Navigation strobes, a Tarot 650 Sport stretched to 1040mm with a Pixhawk, M8N GPS, 3axis gimbal, C&T telemetry, 915mHt telemetry, retracts, OLED, Fly Tron Navigation strobes, a 250 "racer" with an F3 board running iNav with an M8N GPS, 200mw FPV tx, 700 line CCD camera, an X-666 with an APM 2.6, M8N GPS, Scottflys' Teensy telemetry, 915mHz telemetry... Radios are a Taranis X9E running OpenTX 2.2 for the Tarots and the X-666, and a Fly Sky TH9X with an AR9X board running OpenTX 2.2 for the 250. I also have a Syma X5-SW with 5.8mHz FPV, and a couple of smaller Syma aircraft that I resurrected from the dead...
