DJI is advertising their stabilization system as 'Vision Positioning Technology'. Watching the following video, whatever they are doing, it is working quite well. Any ideas?

It is an optical flow system incorporating a downward facing camera and a ultrasonic Tx and Rx. The camera looks for variations in the surface below the craft for position hold and the ultrasonic determines the altitude. I have been flying indoors at CES for the past 4 days. It works wonderfully. The max height is 2.5m for this to work but it is shown in the Inspire App if working or available.
