TBS Disco - how to cure drift

My TBS disco, NAZA and GPs holds rock steady in GPS mode but drifts slowly backwards and to the right in atti mode. Also, when it is rock steady in GPS mode, when I rotate rudder left or right slowly the TBS loses position and. I suspect this is due to the drift.

Everything else is fine and I've calibrated the compass but basically, what's the best way to cure the slight drift in Atti?

with the dji naza assistant open, click Tools, imu calibration..... make sure the quad is flat and not moving... read the manual about how to do it. it'll tell you it doesn't need it's close enough but you can make it hold as good as gps in atti with no wind and it makes forewrd flight nice and smooth without tenancy to drift the same deal.....

Cheers Kloner. When I checked in Tools it said I didn't need to calibrate the IMU but I'll do it again. I read your other posts that deal with that and putting paper under the legs.

Paper under legs has no effect at all for me. How stable should the readings from the Gyroscope x,y & z be? Mine are all jumping around randomly between -.2 to +.4

they do jump all over, and it will tell you every time that it is in range, the bottom button still works and you'll want to do it.

pick one spot to set the craft, not orientation, lift the side it drifts towards, hit calibrate and fly it again. I had naza here yesterday was setting up. Let go of the sticks and it didn't drift, it flew away to the right and forward. it took three tries with sheets of paper and hitting calibrate. now shes hands free like the rest of mine...... i was floored, it had like a 1/4" of paper under one leg, but theres no telling the table was flat, i just kept sitting it in the same spot tuning out the drift
