Switching Battery Leads

Hey, so I am switching leads. I have all Deans connectors now and I am fend up on how difficult they can be. They are not that fun to solder, they are not that fun to connect and they suck to disconnect. Before I re-solder all my batteries and quads I was hoping for some input from the community. Dont think it makes a difference but the basic specs are Lipos ranging from 5000 mah to 6000mah on a hexa f550, I do plan on running a parallel set up sometimes for longer flights. (I understand running Parallel) Thanks in advance for sharing your setups.

Oh yes sorry I guess I wasn't clear enough. What Lipos leads are you using? I was going to switch to EC2 but wanted to hear what other peoples experiences were

Ultimate connection security and current handling capability is, IMO, Anderson Powerpole connectors. A little larger than the RC connectors but they are "real" high current connectors, used in industry, military, etc., they can be locked together, and so on. Talk to Torberry (UK) or Powerwerx (US) on the phone - they really know their stuff. They are crimped, which is actually a more reliable connection than soldering, but you need to buy the proper tool.

+1 on the Anderson power poles. I use them on everything I fly and that's all the way down to a Blade 400 and up the a T-Rex 500 and hexa. Very easy to make up and connect and disconnect
