Smart OSD(mk)

Is anyone using the Smart OSD? Not much talk about it. Seems that using the gps, heading, altitude, ect that the Mikrokopter boards already have is a no brainer?!

Am I missing something?

BTW- Not currently flying with OSD so not real educated on the topic.

OSD = on screen display. looks like a HUD on a jet, shows that info in real time

Kloner- yeah I know what it is, was wondering if many folks use the Smart brand osd.

Seattle-Sounds like you like them. Is there someone in the US that sells them or do I have to deal with Smart directly?

I got them early on and dealt directly with Irek in Poland. Not sure if they have a dealer for US sales now. But if not they are good guys and you can order with confidence.

buy it direct. www.altigator.com Got mine in about 7 days. Works great. Easy to configure. There was a used one posted just a day or so ago. Pick that one up and save the shipping/exchange costs.
