Savox SH-1290MG servo from AV200- clicking noise help

I have been having some issues with a grinding noise on the roll axis, so I opened up the Savox servo. I found that I could get rid of the noise (clicking when not installed on the gimbal) by lifting the lowest gear. Anyone have an issue like this? Anything I can do about it? What is the preferred roll servo (besides the awaiting direct drive) for the roll axis if I were to replace it?

The AV200 roll worked with the Savox 1258TG just fine. My 1290MG on the retracts does not make any sound.

hahahaha now I'm really gutted just spent out £58 for a 1258TG & you go & post a nice link like that Great for future reference though.

I just ordered a new gear kit. I'll post if it fixes it. This may have happened during gimbal set-up (full roll on plug-in scenerio) or a past crash. Not sure, but I am not blaming the manufacturing. So I wouldn't fret about ordering one. They seem like quality servos. I just couldn't see any issues, but if it is still there after a new gear set, then I will be bummed.
