S800/Zenmuse/WKM-View/waypoint...

Just wondering how many are running the S800/Zenmuse/and WKM view/waypoint. Is it correct you can still only use the 900mHz WKM-view if you are using a Zenmuse? Or are there adapters for the 2.4 GHz view when also using the Zenmuse. Wondering what your experiences are with the whole setup and if it works well? Finding lots of reviews on Zenmuse, but not much on Zenmuse with view/waypoint system...

If you remove the LED, you can also use the Zen in combination with the 2,4Ghz Datalink module. If it s a good idea to fly with the zen using datalink and waypoints is another question. Right now I need quite some time to get Copter, Cam, RC, Video-Downlink, Ground Recording up and running (and checked) before takeoff. The datalink +Laptop + establishing connection + defining Waypoints + setting height-offset+ check everything once more + ... is too much for me at the moment.

best regards

I'm planning to test it out with the Zenmuse tomorrow.
This evening I am going to remove the Zenmuse and mount a dummy weight, then do some extensive testing on the waypoint system.
If all goes well I'll remount the Zenmuse for tomorrows flying.
Hopefully a splitter won't take long. I don't like the idea of no LED, even though I know the information is on the Groundstation screen.

Well I didn't get a chance to fly waypoints with the Zenmuse Yesterday, because of high winds, but I did get to fly with the dummy weight. I can confirm that it works brilliantly. There a few things I need to figure out such as rate of ascent while traveling to a waypoint, but all in all I'm looking forward to trying it with the Zenmuse.
