Regulate 6s to 14v

Hi guys,

what the best smallest approach to regulate 5s 6s down to 14 15 or 16v. Any small light solution one can recommend ?

Why? Isnt that counter productive?

need it for my leds that run at 16v but the copter will be fed with 6s

I made a 3A 12v supply...the trouble is that when dropping from 22v down to 12v it produces a lot of heat & therfore the 3A became about 400ma!!!! I did find a replacement chip & new circuit diagram that gave 1A @ 12v.

Tap off the balance port.

thanks guys. I was already thinking about using the extension board from MK but if I see right it provides 1A which i to little for the leds.

Macgrafs your approach i way over my skills i wouldnt be able to create something like this !
