Hi, i´m assembling my naza f550 and i was following this vídeo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axp2sdH2fbA&feature=youtube_gdata_player). On minute 13:15 he speaks about don´t solder the vu directly and use instead a plug conector since it would be easier in the future if i want to switch VU. Where can i buy these or make one ? Also (newbie on all this stuff :)) i need to buy dean connectors in order to connect the lipos ? or these como with the lipos ? ( i´m still waiting for my batteries to arrive)

I solder mine to the board and don't use a plug. more mess/clutter/chance of failure

battery packs rarely come with deans, it all depends what you bought, usually packs are wires and no plug. Deans are a great connector, but you gotta do it right. make sure to plug a female and male together so when there hot, the bars can't change position. you also want to be quick about it, flux helps alot along with a 100+ watt solder gun. i use 400 watt

I use the Anderson power poles on almost everything. Very fast and simple to make connections very easy to connect and disconnect.

Chalagi, they look like nice connections but they look big. What are the dimensions of the Anderson power poles?

After the two connectors are plugged together they measure 1.75 inches and each connector is about 1/2" wide that's both neg and pos connector each. I bought the crimpers and connectors from the same supplier

To me deans are very hard to solder and disconnect I have never used the XT60 connectors. After I was shown the Anderson power poles and used them I am sold.
