ok, big mistake...managed to break off and damaged the USB port on my alexmos!

So...I can use the serial connection using a FTDI cable...except I can't! I can't seem to get the cable to work! I keep getting a "Serial corrupt" message, and the alexmos just crashes and resets when you trying to connect.

Anyone use the serial port on their alexmos, and how did you get it to work? Got a diagram for your cable?

Can't you just resolder the usb-plug?
With my board the copper power rings came off, so I had to solder my powerleads a bit further down the board. I guess resoldering, if possible, will be easier.
