Hello All,
Thanks for your time!
I want to build the highest performing single operator OCTO rig possible. I am thinking either Cinestar or Droidworks frame with either a Zenmuse or Cinestar gimbal (shooting with SONY NEX 7). AS far as flight brains- I am familiar with DJI (naza) and have had decent luck with it but am not totally sold- plus I see many members with issues with their DJI/WKM. I have heard only good things about Hoverfly- which I think would be my 1st choice, except my first choice of gimbals is the Zenmuse which requires WKM....
So what should have priority....the Zenmuse (and "compromise" with WKM) or run Hoverfly and use a diff (cinestar) gimbal.
Although I, of course, do not want to waste any money, the budget is not the biggest concern...I just want the most reliable, best performing rig possible.
I would love any and all other ideas and suggestions! Thanks so much!!
----one note to add. Part of this build might seem like over kill (3 axis gimbals for 1 man operation, octo instead of hexa)....the plan was to be able to upgrade the rig when the time is right to be "RED/ FS700" ready. I realize the zenmuse only holds a NEX7- could be sold or used on another rig. Up in the air as to which Cinestar gimbal (what i need now vs. spend the extra $ to be prepped for the upgrade?)
I would LOVE to hear ANY/ALL suggestions, additions, etc. THANKS AGAIN
