Bolt a set of Avroto 2814 on with some Graupner 10 x 5 or 11 x 5 props, on 4S it will easily lift that much and more...

I don't know if my calculations are correct, at half throttle with the Avroto 2814 installed and using 4S batteries with 10X5 props it would have a thrust of 1889 grams, my F450 weighs 2000 grams, so it wouldn't even get off the ground. :(

The 2814's should lift it no problem, axi 2814's lifted my hexa and in manual mode it would rocket. It was an AD-6 weighing in at 4600g....

I had a set of 4 Avroto on my testbed quad frame using 10 x 5 Graupners and 4S 5000, the RTF weight with a WKM was 2740 grams and it flew quite nicely with that setup, plenty of punch and flight times in the 10 minute range. The calc spreadsheets are OK for general guidelines but should not be taken as 100% correct nor as an absolute limit of what is possible.

this is suppo 2814 1000kv with graupner 9x5 and 4s. 2200 grams

1:12 47 mph, 3:37 it showed 47mph on the left, i've seen 55 mph gps speed a bit full forward on naza and not letting go in atti. manual would be even more.

this is the same motors, 2295grams, see the amp draw at 2:37
when i was making the video, i saw a flash of 80 amp at 15.2 volts = 1200 watts.......... dunno what there ratings are, but that's alot of power. these motors are rated for 350 watts and 4s.

Over at rctimer they have a 2216 1200kv that alot of guys are running fpv and really like it. It is the team black sheep motor in a couple weeks
