Naza and Hobbywing 30a funfly's not so nice

I have now tried 2 different types of motors suppo 2814/8 1000kv and the mt2216/12 900kv, both went through the paces on graupner 10x5 props on 3s and 4s. low mid and high timing was used, all said and done and a couple prop break crashes i have come to accept that these ESc's wont work for me with the naza, back to the dji opto's for me. Hopefully this helps someone whos choosing esc's

I'm running Hobbywing Flyfun 30A esc with turnigy D2830/11 1100kv motors and have no problems. Timing is medium.

Wierd man, i want them to work but everything ive tried i still get a crazy wobble thats completly uncontrollable, throw my dji esc in and all good, mind you it doesnt hover as nice... :(
What batts u running. 3 or 4

Maybe ive just got something wrong prop and motor wise...
4s 4000, 900 or 1000 kv on 10" props, im still not super clear on prop choice and motors. All i can think is the motor runs out of rpm and then drops causing the quad to do its rock n roll then causing the other motor to top out aswell. Damnit, just wierd gow it doesn't do it on dji escs

1000kv like the 8 and 9" props better on 4s. less wobble. There all calibrated right?

did you flash them or is the firmware still bone stock?

Firmware is stock hobbywing but they are the new ones only a few weeks old, simonk lives 30 minutes from me and when he gets back from some holidays ill get 4 of his hk blues... All escs have been calibrated to my tx. I might have some 9" graups ill give them a shot after work. What is the issue with 10" prop? They just struggle to adjust fast enough?

the motors spin such low rpm's for there kv they can't speed up fast enough to counter the wobble. if you have a 3s battery, try it even if it's small, just hover and land with the 10's

a bad bearing will start to show as a wobble too. make sure none of the motors are hotter than the others

I flew the ol dird on 3s and it didnt wobble. Awesome, now my only question is what makes that happen.... now i need to reasses my gains, yay fpv mission tomorrow lol

after a few flights i got the dreaded wobble again... I have found if i bring the gains down to around 100 it flies better in atti but does not hover as nicely, any higher and i get the crazy wobble but solid hover, fack i just want to fly not tune lol. Do the gains have any affect in manual as this will be my primary mode during fpv flight?
