Counter sink your nuts or...

This picture is a PERFECT example (Thanks!) of what I was saying a while ago. Look closely at the contact between the top of the prop hub and the prop nut. Notice all the little gaps there? This is why I strongly recommended gently sanding the raised letters off the prop hub to allow full contact of the nut to the prop. I see no reason to allow the possibility to spin a prop free for something that is sooo simple and takes a total of 10 minutes.
Just sayin'

try his ipower series. The bearings go from what i hear, but he sells em too and there serviceable. T-motors do the same....... i really like suppo,,,,,, but i'm getting ready to test a new one coming to MR market soon....

if you have 4s, use 10" props and the 760kv,,,,,, you'd be pretty stoked. if you want 3s and 9-10" get 900 kv. 22mm are good to around 2 kilo, then get slugish, 28mm go to 2.5 kilo carry and start getting mushy

Thanks, looks like I have some things to look at.
I'm running 3S packs

bernd, you have..... i think if your cutting into the prop that hard, it is over tightening.

when you use graupner adapters made for these, it has a domed washer that goes over all that

i remembered what made me leave dji motors. If your props are off and you hold your nail on an idling or low throttle motor and feel them all, you'll feel everything from smooth as silk to feels like a vibrator. When i'd be conviced my jello came from a vibrating motor and ordered a new one, it'd come as new in worse shape. When i get a suppo, there all smooth as silk. The graupner adapters look bent as hell brand new, but you guys see my vids, there clear.

When you get one that feels like a vibrator, it eats it's bearings hovering. when you fly them, they make some crazy noises in your vids from onboard cams.... like it's possesed

I bought my F450 FW back in April so maybe my motors are a different production run than the current batch.
But other than replacing the bearings on just 1 of the motors, I have over 250 absolutely trouble free flights averaging about 7 minutes each.
That's almost 30 HOURS of flying time.
I'm gonna call that good!!

I readily admit that I tend to be a bit anal in trying to eliminate as many potential problems before doing anything.
It's kept me alive while working for for a electrical utility for 35 years with voltages up to 220,000.
I'd LIKE to think that luck plays a very small part.
I figure that a few minutes work to possibly prevent the crash and destruction of close to $800 of aircraft and camera gear is extremely worthwhile.
But just in case
Knock on wood!

des, the avrotos are montsers. if there the 760kv, you'd want 4s and 10" prop. think that's what your looking at.

rc tiger has a 2216-900 you should look at since your suggesting the kinda money you listed. those on a hex will carry a load and give you great mileage.

Leaning towards the T-motors!
Club heli has the 750Kv 2212-16 for like $42 bucks so that seems to be the best option for me right now.
