Motors for 6S

I'm in the process of setting up to run a 6S setup and I'm wondering what motors are common for this in the 275 to 400 watt range. I'm currently flying in the 11 1/2 to 14 pound range with 8 motors. The Tiger 2814 motors that I'm typically using are too high KV for 6S so I'm looking around for substitutes. The TIger 3515's look like they'd be a little better for 6S but too much for my weight range with 8 of them.

the 3515 are the way to go..! Good price , low weight , a lot of power..!

the only problem pat is that i'm running at about 11 1/2 to 14 pounds and i'd have to use tiny props with those motors because they have too much power. i may want to up my hovering RPM to help smooth out my video but right now I'm not looking to change too much of any one detail.

If not mistaken its the same motor Denny used on his F1 mono-frame...I could be wrong tho

THe MT4008-18 motors are difficult to find. The 600kv version is common but the lower KV ones are not available in the places I've looked so far.

ESC's are an issue as well and there's lots of reading to figure out which direction to go in.

Have you asked them directly? TBS just went through a whole r&d and have them relabled and custom wound from them. Tell em about your gig and what your doing. They work with you
