Motor Alignment

I was talking about motor alignment with a site member and figured I'd just repost this pic rather than go looking for the thread with it in it.

So here it is.

It's a good idea but I just lay the thing on a flat table and use a square. That way you know motors are all square to the plane they lay on where as the method shown would only work if all the arms are perfectly straight.

it sure made seeing straight alot easier on an assembled rig....... mine were off pretty far. wonder if they moved or if it was like that from the start
